The California Maritime Leadership Symposium is held every May in Sacramento attracting key members from California's State Legislature and representatives from all of California's ports. The Symposium encourages productive dialogue among maritime industry leaders and effectively communicated port needs to California decision makers. The 2010 CMLS event marked the 10th anniversary of successfully bringing together trade and transportation organizations with close ties to California's vital maritime industry. TSI produces the Symposium and guides the efforts of host agencies including the Port of Los Angeles, Port of Long Beach, U.S. Maritime Administration, California Maritime Academy and other maritime agencies.
