G20 Summit - Clean Energy Jobs Rally and Concert

This event was staged during the G20 Summit in Pittsburgh, PA to focus attention on clean energy jobs and climate legislation. The rally was the final one of a 50-event, 22-state campaign intended to pass climate legislation. The event consisted of a concert, presentations and speeches by key environmental leaders such as Vice President Al Gore. Musical entertainment included Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Big Head Todd & the Monsters, and Grammy-award winning artist Kathy Mattea. Three Squares Inc. was contracted to implement a thorough sustainability plan for the event which garnered national media attention. TSI coordinated event greening logistics with multiple partner organizations including the United Steelworkers Union, BlueGreen Alliance and e2k.
