Ty Colman, LEED AP
Senior Analyst
Ty Colman combines his engineering and management background to assist clients in the evaluation and implementation of projects in sustainability, energy efficiency and process improvement. From conducting advanced energy analysis to greenhouse gas emissions inventories, Mr. Colman applies his engineering capability to implement cost saving solutions for TSI clients ranging from colleges to corporations. Working with numerous Fortune Global 500 clients, Mr. Colman has gained a thorough understanding of the business implications of strategic resource management, and has engaged at all level of the corporate structure - from CEO to support staff.
He has used his experience to lead ambitious projects with national and international clients in a variety of industries, including consumer products, utilities, municipalities, renewable energy, mining, printing and publishing, finance, and green building. Through his career he has provided clients with strategic vision and technical support in efficiency analysis, carbon tracking and reporting, data interpretation and summation, advanced applications and models, product design and material selection, and operational feasibility studies. Mr. Colman has been involved with projects in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas.
Mr. Colman holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management from the Colorado School of Mines, where he also earned a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy and Material Engineering, with a minor in Economics and Business. Mr. Colman has been a LEED AP since 2005.
