A Clean Air Conference & Expo for High School Students

Hosted by the South Coast Air Quality Management District, the conference aimed at fostering awareness and increase the understanding of air quality and climate change issues among local high school students. TSI handled the logistics for this powerful conference which attracted 10,000 high school students from Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire. The program included well-known environmental speakers, information on career training, colleges and volunteer opportunities in the environmental arena. The exhibits demonstrated technologies and transportation solutions promoting clean air. TSI participated in planning committee meetings working closely with AQMD staff and created an event staffing and logistics plan to cover security, first aid, exhibitors, talent, transportation and sound/staging. The plan included coordinating 200+ school buses and operating a dispatch and control center on site during the event.
