Environmental trailblazer and sustainability technology specialist Jaime Nack participated as a speaker in the 2017 Fast Company Innovation Festival, which drew over 10,000 entrepreneurs, researchers, and business leaders to New York City. The Festival featured an impressive speaker roster of over 200 trailblazers linked to the fields of design, leadership, social good, tech, entrepreneurship, and health. Speakers included Questlove, Jessica Alba, Derek Jeter, Cecile Richards, Mario Batali, and Kate Hudson.
Nack, who is President of Three Squares Inc. and CEO of One Drop Interactive, spoke in a session curated by Chuck Salter, Editorial Director of Fast Company's Content Studio. She spoke alongside Jeff Burke, Professor-in-Residence and Associate Dean of Technology and Innovation at the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television about how they utilized creativity to develop breakthrough technologies and strategies in their industries. Nack and Burke are both tied to UCLA, as Nack is a double degree holder and a Board Member of the UCLA Alumni Association.
Three Squares Inc. Works With Special Coffee Association to Implement Sustainability Initiatives at 2017 Global Specialty Coffee Expo
At Three Squares Inc. (TSI), we often say that our business is powered by our passion for sustainability…and coffee! Luckily, both were in high supply at the 2017 Global Specialty Coffee Expo.
Over 10,000+ coffee professionals attended the Expo to view exhibits, network with industry decision makers, and participate in lectures, labs, and certificate programs. TSI managed the sustainability efforts for the event, which included front-of-house and back-of-house waste diversion efforts, product reuse and donation initiatives, and event carbon footprint calculation.
Three Squares Inc. Produces Inaugural Honda Green Conference North America
Three Squares Inc. was honored to work with American Honda Motor Company, Inc. to produce the inaugural Honda Green Conference North America. The Green Conference brought together the top 15 teams from over 100 teams that submitted project proposals for green innovation within Honda North America's facilities and factories. The first place winner at the conference will attend the Green Conference in Japan later this year.
On November 10, 2016, the top 15 teams along with other Honda Associates gathered at Honda North America headquarters in Torrance, CA to present their projects. The teams came from many different Honda facilities in Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
Three Squares Inc. & LACI produce the La Kretz Innovation Campus Grand Opening
Three Squares Inc. was honored to work with the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator to produce the Grand Opening of the La Kretz Innovation Campus in Downtown Los Angeles on October 7th, 2016. The event featured a ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Eric Garcetti and many city officials, as well as an outdoor Expo featuring LACI Portfolio Companies and NGIN companies. The day ended with a block party complete with a diverse group of food trucks, an outdoor bar, and a portfolio company showcase on the outdoor stage.
