Jaime Nack is one of the nation’s most prominent environmental experts and has advised many Fortune 500 companies, cities, and large-scale events. Most notably, Nack served as the Director of Sustainability and Greening Operations for the 2008 Democratic National Convention, marking the first time in history where measures were taken to reduce the environmental impact of the event on the host city. The greening effort was unprecedented in scale and evolved into an industry case study for best practices in event greening, influencing the creation of event industry standards, like ISO 20121. Nack went on to implement sustainability plans for the 2012 and 2016 Democratic National Conventions. Nack led TSI’s efforts to become the first firm in the U.S. to earn certification to ISO 20121. In 2018, Nack served as the Director of Sustainability for the Global Climate Action Summit - co-chaired by CA Governor Jerry Brown, Michael Bloomberg, UNFCCC's Executive Secretary Patricia Espinosa, and Anand Mahindra.
Nack was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. She was appointed under the Obama administration to serve on the National Women’s Business Council, an advisory council to the President, Congress and the SBA on economic issues of importance to women business owners. Nack was named the "Environmental Conservator of the Year" by the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. Nack speaks to audiences around the world about the business case for sustainability and its impact on the future of the global marketplace. She proudly serves as one of Vice President Al Gore’s presenters for The Climate Reality Project.
She holds a Master’s in Public Policy from UCLA, where she also earned her Bachelor’s in International Economics, with a specialization in Latin America. She has also completed executive education courses at Yale, Harvard, and Oxford.

Ty Colman combines his engineering and management background to advise clients on resource management strategies that yield economic and environmental savings. Most recently, Ty led a project for some of the most prolific global IT companies to develop and implement Science-Based Targets across their value chain. This work paired in-depth technical analysis with purpose-built software to enable these companies to improve engagement with their suppliers and transform the emissions performance of the industry to be in line with the Paris Agreement. In 2006, Colman co-founded POINT380, where he worked with a number of pioneering organizations, including IKEA, Hewlett Packard Enterprises, Williams-Sonoma, and the City of Boulder. He has worked on projects in process efficiency and improvement, strategic planning, carbon tracking and reporting, product design, and material selection. Over the past 15 years, his work has spanned a variety of industries, including consumer products, utilities, municipalities, renewable energy, mining, printing and publishing, finance, and green building.
He holds a Master of Engineering Management from the Colorado School of Mines, where he also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy and Material Engineering.

Jenna Petersen has more than 10 years of experience leading large-scale event production efforts across the globe and implementing comprehensive sustainability initiatives for clients including Hewlett Packard, Comedy Central, South Coast Air Quality Management District, the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator, and Southern California Edison. Petersen was a founding team member behind the inaugural Women In Green Forum in 2010, which has grown to become the largest international conference for women in the environmental industry. Prior to joining TSI, Petersen held a position at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), a bipartisan non-profit in Washington D.C. Working in the Europe Department, she conducted research and analysis on transatlantic issues related to energy policy and the development of renewable technology.
Petersen originally hails from Seattle, Washington. She holds a BA from Chapman University in Orange County in International Business and Economics.

Ali Ames is responsible for organizing all of the core details related to ensuring clients’ projects are rolled out on time, on budget, and on target. She develops staffing assignments, project timelines, and serves as the main client liaison for projects ranging from climate change conferences to electric vehicle station networks to waste diversion campaigns. She has worked closely with clients including the 2012 and 2016 Democratic National Conventions, the South Coast Air Quality Management District, the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator, and the Specialty Coffee Association.
She also leads the planning efforts for the Women In Green Forum, an annual event that brings together the world’s most influential environmental trailblazers for showcase women’s leadership in the field.
Before joining TSI, Ames held positions in the White House serving in the Office of the Vice President and at Al Gore’s The Climate Reality Project. She holds a BA from Washington University in St. Louis in International and Area Studies with a Concentration in Sustainable Development.

Miranda Goss realized at an early age that human consumption and pollution were hurting the environment. Ever since coming to this realization, she has been taking steps to adopt a zero-waste lifestyle, including switching to bar shampoo, making her own mascara, and utilizing “paperless” towels. Goss brings her passion for sustainability to her role at TSI, where she supports work ranging from partnership development to community outreach to carbon accounting.
Before working with TSI, Goss completed a research project for the National Science Foundation that used geospatial technology to map a bay surrounding Catalina Island, led an initiative at Chapman University that showed students how to take on and track daily sustainability actions, and helped facilitate monthly cleanups of Huntington State Beach as an intern with Orange County Coastkeeper.
She holds a BS from Chapman University in Business Administration with an emphasis in Economics and a minor in Environmental Studies.

With a passion for the environment and creating real change for our planet, Sydney Weiss joined the Three Squares Inc. (TSI) team to focus on program development for TSI's flagship event, the Women In Green Forum. She leads the efforts to increase outreach about the Forum to environmental organizations and developed a plan to expand the Youth Leadership Mentorship Program.
Before working with TSI, Weiss worked on a range of environmental projects focusing on climate change activism. While in law school, she worked with Live Earth: Road to Paris as a legal extern, a role in which she assisted with strategic planning and campaign efforts to raise awareness about climate change through entertainment. Since then, Weiss has worked with a number of other environmental organizations to develop creative strategies for enhancing outreach on issues such as healthy soil regeneration, composting, and automobile recycling. She was part of the launch for Kiss The Ground’s campaign, The Compost Story, where she supported the strategy and outreach team.
She holds a JD from Pepperdine University School of Law, and a BA from the University of Southern California in Social Sciences.

Having grown up in Los Angeles, CA, Ben Bronstein is passionate about creating environmental change in his hometown, and actively tries to reduce his environmental impact by consciously reducing waste. He aspires to create wider environmental change and inspire others to implement sustainability efforts so that future generations can continue to enjoy our natural world.
Bronstein is an incoming senior at Pitzer College majoring in Environmental Analysis and minoring in Economics. Focusing his studies on “Sustainability and the Built Environment,” Bronstein is primarily interested in the ways that sustainability is applied in our modern, industrial world. Using his interdisciplinary knowledge and skills, he hopes to explore ways to implement sustainable strategies to limit human waste and consumption. He is active in the environmental movement on campus, regularly participating in meetings for the college’s largest environmental club and volunteering for its Food Recovery Network chapter to help mitigate food waste.

Growing up in a military family, Fiona has lived in 8 different cities, 2 countries, and has traveled to many places in between. It wasn’t until her senior year of high school that Fiona realized how daily lifestyle shifts, such as living a plant-based lifestyle, can play a role in reducing our environmental footprints. Through adopting a more environmentally-conscious lifestyle, Fiona hopes to inspire those around her to also practice habits that can help alleviate environmental harms.
Fiona is a rising senior at UCLA studying Sociology and Environmental Systems and Society, particularly interested in the cross-sections between the social world and environmental sector. Her studies have equipped her with the necessary skills and mechanisms to understanding the social world through the lens of prioritizing sustainable undertakings. Fiona also works as the Undergraduate Staff Coordinator for the Semel Healthy Campus Initiative at UCLA, connecting undergraduate staff members with campus activities and programs that promote health and wellbeing at UCLA. She enjoys spending time at the jane b semel Community Garden at the Sunset Canyon Recreation Center, where kale and swiss chard are harvested in abundance during the summer season.

Ivan Fedorowich leads TSI’s creative projects from concept to final production. With a keen understanding of design for impact and ability to quickly pick up on organizational design styles, he knows how to meet or exceed clients’ expectations while maintaining artistic integrity and meeting strict deadlines.
Fedorowich has created brand identities, logos, marketing materials, and informational designs for a wide range of clients, including the Honda Green Conference North America, the Honda Marine Science Foundation, and the South Coast Air Quality Management District.

Luna joined the Three Squares Inc. (TSI) team in June of 2013 and has actively participated in every staff meeting since then. Luna brings a positive attitude and wagging tail to the office daily. Her dedication knows no bounds. As a rescue pup (Perfect Pet Rescue), Luna demonstrates a true appreciation for her new family at the office and at home. In her spare time, she actively promotes and lobbies for other rescue pups hoping that they too can find their forever homes!

With his silky coat and piercing yellow eyes, Klaus graces the TSI office with elegance and class. Before falling in a fountain to gain the attention of his future family, Klaus spent his early months in the hills of Malibu at Mary Dee’s infamous rescue ranch.
Klaus enjoys chattering with the birds and has become a renowned connoisseur of (sustainably-sourced) tuna. A true extrovert, Klaus hasn’t met a human, chihuahua, or fellow feline he doesn’t like!
The (great) Gatsby has been a member of the Three Squares Inc. (TSI) team since September of 2012. Originally hailing from St. Louis but having spent half his life in Washington D.C., he brings both Midwestern charm and a no nonsense attitude to the office. At home, Gatsby enjoys helping foster dogs adjust to life outside the shelter. His other hobbies include playing tag, jumping on his humans, and pushing random items off counters.

Well...really it’s “Twinkle Toes” because of a few of her cute little white nails. Twinkle is a part of the TSI family and is beloved by us all. This Boston-Pug was rigorously sought out by Ivan Fedorowich’s amazing wife for their family, and she fits perfectly. She’s the consummate “ever-puppy”, wiggling her pointy little tail at every meeting of new people. Then she meets you again...and you’re still new people. That’s why we love her...and because she loves belly rubs.

The Three Squares Inc. (TSI) team adopted Cinta through the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation, an Indonesian non-profit dedicated to the conservation of the Bornean orangutan and its habitat.
Cinta was rescued from an area that had been cleared by an oil palm company. When found, she was apparently motherless, screaming, and shivering.
When she arrived at her rehabilitation facility, she was greeted by a special guest - former President of Indonesia, Megawati Soekarnoputri. The former President named the new baby Cinta, which means 'love' in Indonesian, a fitting name given that her rescue took place on Valentine's Day
