Each semester, Three Squares Inc.’s Director of Sustainability, Ali Ames, lectures for the Santa Monica College Resource Recovery and Recycling course. She presents on real-world applications to their coursework and leads a workshop in which students brainstorm how they can positively impact their respective spheres of influence.
Under Three Squares Inc.’s guidance and leadership, the 2019 Los Angeles Marathon received Gold Level Certification from the Council for Responsible Sport. The event’s comprehensive Sustainability Report outlines the strategic planning efforts and performance metrics that helped make the certification possible.
